Welcome spring
Blog
Ah, sweet freedom. My parents just left to go up north for the weekend, my sister is at work. Its just me and my dog with the stereo up loud. I'm going to try and do homework like planned, but I think I might make a billion cookies too. Chocolate and coffee cookies! Mmmm.

My poor dog is getting so old. She can't hear anymore, you have to shout to get her to notice anything. She used to be really jumpy and would move if you needed to walk past her, now she doesn't even twitch. Granted, she was the worst dog ever when she was young so its sort of nice now that shes calm, but the contrast makes me sad.

Just another rainy Wednesday

Nick has car keys again, yahoo! They just cost him (us) $110, boo! I'm alright with that though, because now he can drive to work and that is a good thing.

I stayed over his house yesterday and watched I am Legend. It was pretty sweet, but I was a big baby about it like usual. I had a pillow in my lap the whole time so I could cover my face and I made Nick change the screensaver to white so I could have a nightlight, lol. Now I want to read the book more than I did before. I picked up a copy at work to see if the ending was different, and just from flipping through, it seems totally different. There are a bunch of short stories after it too, and I'm wondering if those got incorporated into the movie too, or if they're unrelated. Sometimes I have trouble reading scary books though. They give me nightmares just as bad as a movie ^_^ I once read only half a zombie novel
even though the story was really good, because I wasn't getting any sleep . Oops.

I have to go read spanish things now. gay.

Second to last day of spring break, and I still haven't finished anything. Oops. Semesters nearly over though. But that means I need to start looking for a high paying, low hour second job and get seriously cracking on this wedding. Yuck.

Yesterday, Nick and I went and got new phones after an apocalyptic meltdown with Sprint 10 days before our contract ended. So now we have new phones and new numbers. Mine is pink! I'm hoping AT&T will be smooth sailing because a cell phone is the last thing I need to worry about right now. I never realized how much I used my phone until I didn't have it. It was really bad when Nick and I were at his house without a land line anywhere nearby. I felt like I was on a desert Island. Maybe we should have tried coconuts?

Last night was Catherine Torrento's (now Trapp) wedding celebration. I had a lot of fun, especially because I don't see much of Nick's family anymore. The only downfall was the seating, we were all split up around the room.

So, in wedding news, we have nothing planned, and less than five months until the day. -Insert break down here- Ginger and I looked at a dress I really loved, but it was more expensive than planned. A bunch of people have given us leads on possible locations too, we just never have time together to see them. Can someone else do this for me?
