So a lot of very cool and important things happened today. 1.) The new IKEA catalog came in the mail and 2.) Nick and I applied for an apartment! (What? You know I can't resist them swedes)
So we applied at Lakeside Village today, and if everything goes well, we move in as early as Tuesday! I'm totally excited. I will be 1 mile from my work!
My boss worked my regular days off into my vacation time to make it even longer, so now the 17th is my last day until at least September 1st! I'm so excited, I haven't had 2 weeks off since the summer vacation of 11th grade. After we move in, Nick and I are doing a lot of nothing ^_^

Computer is broken again, but whats new? I've had quite a lot to blog about too.
So I worked at JoAnn's a total of 3 days. Woo! It wasn't hard work really, but very physical, more than I could do with another 8 hour shift looming and 4 hours of sleep. So I tried but I couldn't cut it.
My hair has been falling out for the last 2 weeks or so. Lots of it, big handfuls after every shower. I went to the doctor last Friday to have it checked on. He said it sounded like it was just stress but he did a full physical and a bunch of blood work just to be sure. I have to call tomorrow about the results. The nice thing is since my hair is so thin right now, it curls very nicely because its not weighed down. The bad thing is you can really see my scalp in front :P Ginger is supposed to bring me some hair vitamin on Sunday, hopefully that will help everything get back to normal.
Nick and I had our shower with his family last Saturday and it was so much better than I expected. We didn't play a single stupid game, we just ate lunch, chatted and opened presents. You wouldn't believe how much stuff we got too! It was really, really nice. The shower with my side of the family is this Sunday and I'm a little less optimistic. My sister insisted on throwing it, but doesn't seem to have organized much. Its Wednesday night and I'm pretty sure she hasn't even figured out the food. Ah! Hopefully it all comes together and I won't be upset.
The nicest thing about the shower last weekend was I got to spend the entire day with Nick. We went to his house after to write out our thank you notes and eat pizza and just chill. It was nice. Tomorrow we are going to sample cake and put our order in. Yum! After that its just my veil and flowers! I can't wait to be done with all this crap, lol.

Ring ring ring, Banana Phone!
I've been living on the phone lately. I hate using the phone too, normally my minutes never peak 100 for the month cause I never use the dang thing unless I'm trying to figure out where Nick is.
I called the local Chevy dealer this morning to find out about fixing my door. They have the part in stock and its only $73 so I'm going to swing by tomorrow morning and get it. I'm going to ask them how much it will cost if they install it, but I think I'll just wait for my Dad to come home and do it. Boy, will that be a relief to have fixed. Then I won't feel like such a jackass when I take my car to have everything else fixed. Uhh, yes, I can see you are 6'5" but could you please climb over the passenger seat? Yes, thank you. lol, mechanics hate that.
I made a hair appointment on friday for a trim and to try out bridal styles. It was only after I made the appointment that I realized my cousin Tony is going to beauty school and does a really good job styling hair. I'll see him on Saturday at a family party so I think I might corner him with the idea. What else is family for?
Tastefest (now called CityFest) starts Wednesday! I want to go! I have Thursday off, anybody else?

I am slowly going crazy 1-2-3-4-5
Well, my computer has some weirdo virus and I thought it was effecting the internets too, but it turns out my sister just unplugged the ethernet cable when she took her router -_- duh. I've been on the phone all morning with the entire world and drank most of a pot of coffee. I feel crazier than usual. Oh, where to start...
Well, my parents on on vacation in Florida until the 5th or so. My grandma is in the hospital and my two Uncle's aren't considerate enough to keep my sister and I updated. We thought she was going home yesterday and when I tried calling her at home this morning, no one answered. So on a whim I call the hospital, and lo and behold, there she is with breathing problems and everything. Imagine my surprise since I assumed no calls from the Uncles would have meant everything was ok. My sister and I are ready to strangle them. They didn't even think to call us. It makes to want to holler.
Then, my sister and I were supposed to watch my cousins dog this week, and my dog here at home. We were going to split it up based on what was easier when. Apparently my cousin has been trying to email the two of us all week and since I thought my computer was broken and Amy hasn't gotten connected to the internets yet, we had no idea. Amy managed to check her personal email at work the other day and we find out that since she couldn't get a hold of us, her mom is watching the dog now. Really? C'mon. Does she not have a phone? I know she does. Hopefully my aunt doesn't mind too much, because I feel like a real jerk.
Lastly, I start my second job next Sunday evening so Nick and I are trying to finish up all the wedding stuff in this next week because I won't be able to do anything besides sleep and Nick just won't do anything unless I make him. We bought our wedding bands last week, they are very pretty, I can't wait until we can wear them ^_^ Tuesday we will hopefully eat and order cake. We also get to go to the hall and taste and order food for the reception Tuesday night. I need to make a hair appointment this week to try out styles. I'm going to try and put my mom in charge of flowers and leave the hootch up to Nick and his Aunt, but I don't know if either of those are really good ideas at all. My mom asked for a job a month ago and I told her I needed help with the cake, told her what I needed, what I wanted, and she never did a thing. Very helpful, but exactly what I expected from her.
Tomorrow Nick and I are going to see Johnny Lang play at the festival in Mt. Clemens. It should be pretty cool. I think I'm going to bring a water bottle filled with vodka and forget today. Very mature, I know.

I forgot to tell you about Jamie's birthday party! Jamie had a lovely birthday party with a lot of lovely people at a lovely pottery studio in Royal Oak. I made a mug with an alligator inside. I'm going to pick it up in a few days, I hope it didn't come out too ugly, I'm not very artistic. Lia came and I was super excited since I haven't seen her since 11th grade or so. I miss my friends. Why did we all move so far away from each other? We are all retarded.

My computer at home is broken (again) so I'm using the one at the library for a few minutes. So far I cannot check Livejournal, MySpace of Facebook. Lame. My dog and I are home by ourselves until the 5th most likely. Come visit us, or do my chores at least. There are a lot more chores when its just me.
I took the night job at JoAnn's. Its starts July 6th and lasts about 5 weeks, 9pm to 5am. I'm keeping my job at Barnes & Noble 7am-3:30 so If you don't hear from me in the next month, this is why. Nick and I ordered our wedding bands last night and will hopefully be able to order our cake next week. I need to get as much of the wedding done in the next 2 weeks because it will be waay too late by the time I have time again.
